Berlin Rebel High School plot

Tucked away in one of Berlin's backyards is Germany's most ambitious secondary school. No headmaster, no hierarchy and no stress. This school is run entirely by its students without any outside funding. The students pay their own teachers and decide for themselves what they want to learn. This is the first film about this school. It shows a very different school model and tells the touching stories of Alex, Lena, Mimy and Hanil. They all come from public schools all over Germany and have one thing in common: they failed. Now they experience a completely new way of learning and want to try it again.
