Beauty of Fatherland plot
""If men produce bombs, then women bring beauty to this world" - T.J."
The film shows the eternally singing forests and the picturesque squares where people dance fanatically. This is Estonia from a traditional history book and the starting point of this documentary that carries the motto 'men wage war, women create beauty'. The viewer encounters two beauty creators. The first lives in the mind of her grandfather, a famous nationalist politician. For example, she puts her heart and soul into Boy Scouts and molds her pupils into good burghers and obliging guardians of hearth and home. The second creator of beauty was once a celebrated fashion model. Now she organizes Miss Estonia and mini-Mass pageants. She coaches her protégés as passionately as the Akela does hers. We see both women at work, relaxing at home and answering identical questions.
