Beastmode: A Social Experiment plot

Beastmode weaves together two seemingly unrelated storylines: the first two years of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte's rule, infamous for his war on drugs; and the reconstruction of a social and artistic experiment on violence and performance – a kind of Fight Club 2.0. The pivot of the experiment is the well-known Filipino actor Baron Geisler. He seems out of control of his aggression and starts fighting in public. Social media exploded and a media riot ensued. Geisler and other protagonists look back in video diary style on the commotion their project caused.
