Bahrain: The Forbidden Country plot

In a country where no journalists enter, documentary maker Stéphanie Lamorré managed to smuggle in a camera in February 2012 and secretly record the violently suppressed uprisings. Although the rest of the world seemed convinced that nothing was going on in Bahrain, citizens took to the streets here night after night. Since the outbreak of the insurgency on February 14, 2011, more than 70 people have been killed and hundreds injured in the demonstrations and in captivity.
