Joan Jett became mega famous with the hit song "I Love Rock 'n Roll", but that's only part of the story. That fame was further enhanced by the endless showing of the music video on MTV, world tours and many hits that followed, such as “I Hate Myself for Loving You”. Jett went above and beyond in her work for fame, impressing on stage as the backbone of hard rock legend The Runaways. She started her record label out of the trunk of a car after being rejected by 23 labels and influenced many musicians - both the punk rockers and generations of younger bands - with her no-bullshit style.
