Bad Girls of Music plot
A double biography of the violinists Vera Beths (44) and Olga Rudge (96). The film outlines the careers of the two women: opposite the more recent fame of Vera Beths is Olga Rudge's breakthrough in the 1920s and 1930s. Vera Beths and pianist Reinbert de Leeuw travel to the Italian Dolomites to offer Olga Rudge a private performance of the violin sonata that George Antheil composed for her. Despite their very different backgrounds, the two women recognize themselves in their musical preferences: George Antheil and the old Italian master Antonio Vivaldi.
