Back on Board: Greg Louganis plot
"Being the greatest wasn't enough."
Adopted before his first birthday, Greg Louganis goes through a difficult childhood. He started his sporting career at the age of 9 and seven years later he won a silver medal on the 10-meter platform at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal. At both the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and Seoul 1988, he won gold twice in the 3-meter springboard and the 10-meter platform, an all-time record. His career comes to a sudden end when it turns out that he is HIV positive. This documentary paints the picture of the athlete, including major ups and downs.
