Awakening: The Fight for Israel's Democracy plot

When the Israeli government led by Benjamin Netanyahu announced a controversial plan for legal reforms in January 2023, it unleashed a massive and prolonged civil protest. Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets, but after the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, everything changed. This documentary follows a group of Israelis fighting for democracy for four years.
