Aviotes Mnimes plot

Like the youth in Germany, Ireland, South Africa and the Middle East, the youth of Cyprus grows up among memorials, commemorations and other reminders of a war that they themselves did not experience. In this documentary, Athena Xenidou has several young people tell what it means to live among the traces of war. For example, Costas tells what it is like to be the child of one of the 1,619 people who have gone missing since the invasion by Turkey in 1974.
