Aufnahme plot

German hospitals function by daily routines that are built according to a certain system. From the history of a disease and admission, through the examination and diagnosis, to a possible operation. While the patient worries about his health, doctors move back and forth in a fragile balancing act between individual well-being and bureaucracy. This documentary explores the different components between patient and hospital staff, as well as the hidden areas that the hospital's organization maintains.
