As I Lay Dying plot

We see footage of the Green Movement, a series of protests in Iran that began in the summer of 2009 in response to the electoral fraud committed in favor of incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad. We see the chaos, the solidarity among the demonstrators, and also the astonishment: that this is possible, that this is happening. The shaky images, filmed handheld, capture both the energy of the crowd and the panic when shots suddenly ring out. Meanwhile, a voice-over calmly recounts what happened afterward to the people we see.
