Another African Story plot
The conflict in Darfur, an area of western Sudan the size of France, is being fueled by sinister forces. Since 1993, the Sudanese government has supported the northern Arabs in a civil war against the southern black population. Lands and houses have been taken by the Arabs, millions of people have been killed, hundreds of thousands saw no other option but to leave their country. A war is raging in Darfur that is a derivative of Sudan's great civil war. The government deploys death squads there to terrorize the population. In the last two years, about 50,000 people have been killed, 70,000 people have died of starvation and the region has turned into something that can only be called a huge refugee camp. Another African Story makes clear the commitment with which the rebels fight for development and the right to self-determination. Until recently, Darfur had almost completely escaped international attention, now massive aid operations have been launched.
