Annie Leibovitz: Life through a Lens plot
A documentary about the life and work of the acclaimed American photographer made by her sister Barbara Leibovitz. Almost as famous as the people she has photographed, Annie Leibovitz is one of America's most celebrated portrait photographers. She knows how to capture her subjects - from Demi Moore and Nicole Kidman to the cabinet of George W. Bush - with an often theatrical or provocative imagination. Since the early 1980s, her work has regularly graced the covers of Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair and the New Yorker. This documentary follows the career of more than thirty years of Annie Leibovitz, considers the influence of her relationship with partner Susan Sontag and shows conversations with Graydon Carter, Rosanne Cash, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Whoopi Goldberg, Mick Jagger, Yoko Ono and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
