Angelos' Film plot

In Angelos' Film, Forgács uses the amateur films of the Greek naval officer and patrician Angelos Papanastassiou, who filmed the atrocities committed by the Nazis in his country, often at the risk of his own life. We see images of Italy's invasion of Greece in 1940, the German invasion in 1941, the Nazi flags on the Acropolis, German executioners on bicycles, but also Angelos' newborn daughter: how she is breast-fed, how she is put in a bath. The world history and the daily life of a young family are thus intertwined.
