Amina plot

Like director Khadija Al-Salami, Amina from Yemen was married off at a young age. Amina is eleven when she gets married and fourteen when she ends up in prison. She is sentenced to death for allegedly murdering her much older husband. Amina denies that. Initially, she is too young to be hanged. Later, the execution cannot go ahead because she is pregnant after being raped by a prison employee. She will be deferred until her child is off breastfeeding. Amina is now nine years and innocent in prison and she is two escape attempts further.
