"Success is Our Only Option"

An intimate portrait of two African-American families. The documentary follows the families over a period of twelve years. A time when they strive for better conditions through the education of their children. The two sons, Idris and Seun, are first filmed as they attend kindergarten. The two are best friends. Yet their paths are separated by the education they are about to follow.
