Always in Season plot

In 2014, the lifeless body of black teenager Lennon Lacy is discovered in Bladenboro, North Carolina, hanging from a swing. Suicide is the verdict of the local police, but his friends and family don't believe it at all. Their theory: He was lynched by racists. After it turns out that the detectives on duty have made a few mistakes, the FBI is called in.
