Als het Leven Zelf plot

Director Rosemarie Blank filmed the actors of Ramba Zamba, a Berlin theater company for the mentally handicapped, both on and behind the stage. The actors are also usually dressed up behind the scenes. This blurs the line between their own reality and their game. The events in the dressing room seem as dramatic as the performances themselves - contemporary variants of classical tragedies such as Medea and Orpheus.
