Singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright comes from a musical family: his father is Loudon Wainwright III and his mother is folk singer Kate McGarrigle. This documentary highlights Rufus's musical career, his private life and how the two intertwine and come together in his music. Rufus talks about his childhood, his parents' divorce, passion for music, homosexuality, drug use and addiction, relationship with his father and mother and the search for love.
