All about Darfur plot

British director Elsanhouri is of Sudanese descent and uses her own experience of discrimination to understand the race/tribal conflict in Darfur, and so throughout Sudan. Elsanhouri does not show shocking images of the ravaged country, she limits herself to the conversation. She asks tea-drinking men questions, as does her driver, a professor, a magazine man, her grandmother and the owner of the teahouse. Elsanhouri uses image and word to gain a better understanding, as well as to let the Sudanese formulate in their own words how they think about Darfur, their society, politics and origin.
