Alfred et Lucie Dreyfus, Je T'embrasse comme Je T'Aime plot

December 1894. Captain Dreyfus is sentenced to deportation for treason. Lucie, his wife, makes an agreement with him: to live at all costs, pending his rehabilitation. For five years, the spouses write each other hundreds of letters that are opened, analyzed and censored by the French authorities.
