Al Otro Lado plot

The Mexican Magdiel is an ambitious performer of 'Corrido', music with a 200-year-old tradition. To improve his living conditions, Magdiel has only two options: become a drug courier or try to illegally cross the border into America. Magdiel meets a 'Coyote', a guide who helps people illegally cross the border. In exchange for a beautiful song about himself, the 'Coyote' wants to help Magdiel cross the border.
