Levon Helm was co-founder of The Band. More than thirty years after their departure, Helm is still making music. He does this from his home in Woodstock, where he holds his famous barn concerts, born out of money, where he performs with a variety of artist friends. It follows the smoke-free singer who survived throat cancer in 2008, on the eve of the Grammy Awards for which his album has been nominated, and where an award will also be presented to The Band.
