Ahmeds Kapotte Land plot

Afghan taxi driver Ahmed shows filmmaker Sakir Khader his 'country without a future', as he describes Afghanistan after the takeover by the Taliban. In Wardak, the region in the Afghan countryside where Ahmed grew up, the years of fighting between the Taliban and especially American troops raged at their fiercest. Ruins and graves determine the street scene in the villages. Survivors tell them stories of the violence that befell them and of the loss of so many loved ones.
