Aganai: The Cult Leader and Me plot
"A Modern Report on The Banality of Evil"
On March 20, 1995, an attack by the Aum Shinrikyo (now Aleph) sect with sarin nerve gas left 13 dead and more than 6,000 injured in the Tokyo subway. Atsushi Sakahara survived the attack, but is still suffering the consequences. In his attempt to understand the events of that time, he has a conversation with prominent cult member Hiroshi Araki. It turns out that they come from the same university and the same region, where they travel together and, among other things, have an emotional meeting with Sakahara's parents.
