Afstand van de Berg plot

From the mouth of former miners, their wives and children, the history of the Limburg mining industry unfolds in which, after the closure of the mines, but also before that, the miner's families felt left to their own devices. Van den Bosch lards the predominantly bitter anecdotes with poems by Bertus Aafjes (read by the poet himself) and archive images, which reveal the false romanticism of the miner's life.
