Afghan Muscles plot

In Afghanistan, bodybuilding is one of the most popular sports. In a country devastated by war, these athletes dream of muscle, honor and fame. It's their way of taking control of the chaotic world around them. The Danish director Andreas Mol Dalsgaard follows a number of bodybuilders in the preparations for the “Mr. Asia” Championship. In impoverished Afghanistan there are no means of strength available, finding the right sports pants is already quite a task and sponsoring often consists of no more than a few eggs a day.
