The search for the right lyrics, notes, sounds and instruments to express yourself is not easy. The National is a band from New York, who constantly walk away from the making of their new album: Boxer. Vincent Moon follows the band during the creation of new songs, in the search for a new sound. He witnesses how a small guitar riff turns into a complete song and how the album Boxer is born, which will later be praised by the fans and the reviewers.
