A la Conquête du Monde plot

Two-part historical documentary about the first navigators to circumnavigate the globe. The Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan (1480-1521) led the first sailing voyage around the world in Spanish service in 1519. Later, the English privateer Francis Drake (1540-1596) ventured on a second similar voyage in 1577. With reconstructions and testimonies of historians and archaeologists.
