A Greek Winter plot

Tasos Pafralides runs a small gas station in Thessaloniki together with his sister Evdokia. In winter, they also supply heating oil to a large number of flats and homes in the city, but as the economic crisis worsens, fewer Greeks can afford the oil. A Greek Winter closely follows Tasos as he works in the city, where he regularly has to hear lamentations about increased taxes and unreliable politicians, but also the many pleas for postponement of payment. Older people in particular, some of whom have been abandoned by their children, are at their wits' end.
