A Flood in Baath Country plot

With A Flood in Baath Country, Amiralay concludes his trilogy about the Ba'ath Party and their prestige project. Almost three decades later, he returns to the valley where Lake Assad is now located. In the village of Al Mashi, he finds the perfect reflection of the regime of the Ba'ath Party, which under the guise of socialism established a strict autocracy in which old tribal structures live on.
