90 Seconds in North Korea plot

In North Korea you can't just film on the street with impunity. So how do you circumvent the propaganda regulations to make a film about real life on the streets of the capital Pyongyang? Filmmaker Ranko Paukovic pretended to be a photographing tourist, but instead of taking pictures, he secretly made short two-second shots. By slowing down these short images, fragments of public life in Pyongyang are transformed into segments in which all attention is drawn to the everyday life of the North Korean.
