68 plot

The spring of 1968 was marked in France by three major social events that complemented and reinforced each other to such an extent that a revolutionary climate emerged. There was not only the protest of the young people and the uprising of the students, but also the largest strike in French history and a political crisis. The politicians misjudged the situation. In addition, there was major disagreement between Prime Minister Pompidou and President De Gaulle. Using archive footage and testimonies from the protagonists of the time, this documentary reconstructs the turbulent days in France and the rest of the world in the spring of 1968.
