50 Meters plot
Against the backdrop of the fifty-meter pool of a water aerobics team of men over seventy, Yomna, an aspiring director, struggles to get her film off the ground. She decides to turn her camera on her distant father and uses the emerging elements of her film to seek rapprochement with him. Through writing fictional scenes and composing voiceovers, Yomna manages to break through her father's shield and share her existential questions with him. By ultimately showing her vulnerability, Yomna manages to reconcile with her father, with herself, and move forward in her life.
