2 Minuten Stilte a.u.b. plot
Every year on May 4, the Netherlands commemorates its victims of war. A unique moment during this annual ritual is the two minutes of silence. In the morning and afternoon of May 4, filmmaker Heddy Honigman asked various people for a 2-minute silence, what this day means to them. For example, she visits filmmaker Netty Rosenfeld, writer Anna Enquist, a catering entrepreneur on Dam Square and the daughter of an NSB member. On the evening of May 4, various camera crews followed these people during their visit to the commemoration of the dead and filmed them during the two minutes of silence.
