Womanhunt plot
""Dead Man" Stalking the Streets for His Own Killer!"
Hal Weston, who is looking for his ex-wife Nora Petrie, arrives in Los Angeles. Nora's current husband Petrie, who was once Hal's business partner at an import company, recently passed away. Nora had separated from Hal shortly after Petrie, who used the company as a cover for drug smuggling, escaped New York police. Hal contacts Osgood, a former employee of Petrie, and asks him for help in finding Nora. In Chinatown, an Asian neighborhood of Los Angeles, Hal learns from Li Sheng that Nora was a drug addict. Hal also learns that Nora was planning to go to Asia with her husband's insurance money and he discovers that the photo in her passport belongs to another woman. He confronts Dr. Sheng, Li's father, about Petrie's death certificate. Not long after, Hal receives a call from Dr. Sheng to see him at the observatory, where he is attacked by two criminals, but manages to escape. Li then accuses Hal of murdering her father. But then Nora's body is discovered in Petrie's coffin.
