Dottie Manson, the safe-cracker's daughter, falls in love with the attractive mobster Lois King, the son of 'Red', also a criminal. Lois is still looking for a big heist that will make him rich forever. Lois reminds Dottie of her father, but this stops her from participating in a robbery. However, Lois turns out to be a bad safe-cracker and the robbery fails. Dottie then returns to her nightclub and has an affair with nightclub owner Kenny Randall. Dottie's father also has a new girlfriend, Mitzi. Somewhat later, Dottie is forced to participate in a robbery by her father and Mitzi. Then Randall shows up and is shot by Mitzi. Dottie gets the blame for that.
