"Confession of a broken soul"

Inspector Antony Xavier, a police officer struggling with his strained relationship with his son Philip, undergoes therapy in an attempt to repair their bond. Philip, however, remains embittered. Antony dismisses a complaint filed by a young woman accusing her classmate Rajeev of attempted sexual assault. In doing so, he cites the influence of Rajeev's family and the likelihood that the accusation would be discredited due to the girl's previous relationship with him. Under pressure, the girl's mother withdraws the complaint. Shortly afterward, the girl commits suicide, leaving her friend Irene determined to seek justice on her own. However, she is murdered.
