Un Certain Monsieur plot

Sauveterre, a lost village on the Seine. Mr Léonard goes looking for a vase to give to his wife and ends up at the antique dealer Jérôme Lecorduvent. But the merchant dies in his shop before the item is sold. While Commissioner Bellefontaine is investigating the case on the spot, Dr. Tourreil makes his diagnosis: the man is said to have died as a result of a heart attack. But a journalist thinks otherwise.
