Travis McGee plot
Travis McGee is a famous private detective. Wealthy landowner and investor Hub Lawless has disappeared off the west coast of Florida, believed to have fallen overboard from a boat in a storm and drowned. The boat's captain, Van Harder, is accused of being found drunk and unconscious when the boat returned to port. But not all is as it seems, as there are those who claim that Lawless faked his death. Travis investigates.
