Tote Leben Nicht Allein plot

The wealthy old businessman Victor Lehner (Adolph Spalinger) decides to retire and settle in Hamburg with his daughter Simone (Judith Pfistner) and his niece Vera (Myriem Roussel). However, his plane crashes, causing him to lose his memory and his daughter to die. Together with her husband, the businessman's niece hatches an evil plan: She impersonates the deceased daughter in order to win the inheritance. Everything seems to be going smoothly until Vera finds out that Simone was secretly married.
