Chief Superintendent Max Beckmann (Gottfriend John) feverishly searches for a serial killer who seeks his victims in the hacker world. Max, who is in love with psychologist Karin Jensen (Sydne Rome), worries about her son Nicolai (Niels-Bruno Schmidt), who is a member of a computer club with his friend Chet (Benno Fürmann). Nicolai and Chet have meanwhile cracked a database, whose owners are doing everything they can to keep their information from others...
