Tod im Studio plot

"Eine Zukunftsvision des Fernsehens, die hoffentlich nie eintreten wird"

During a live broadcast, something incredible happens. Minister Herbert Kollmann addresses a group of demonstrating farmers when he is suddenly shot. Basler, director of a local TV station, immediately sees that this is the opportunity of a lifetime. He insists that the events all over the country appear in the evening programs. So he orders everything to be broadcast live, sends a reporter on site to interview the victim's wife, just before she completely collapses. He also has the seriously injured minister followed by a camera into the operating room.
