The Woman I Love plot

Edna Reed, the wife of a small salesman, is denied the joys of a holiday celebration because of her husband's limited income. Mrs. Parker, who lives in an adjacent apartment and is the mistress of Kenneth Hamilton, invites Edna to have tea with a friend of Kenneth's at a Russian cafe. During the outing, Kenneth becomes fascinated by Edna. The next day he convinces Edna to come to his apartment, but Mrs. Parker walks in on them and becomes intensely jealous.
