The Trespasser plot
"When a beautiful girl crosses a million dollar racket guy...it's MURDER!"
Stephanie 'Stevie' Carson, the daughter of a famous journalist, has the ambition to follow in her father's footsteps and so she visits the office of the newspaper The Gazette for a job. There, Danny "Dan" Butler of the reference books department plays a nasty trick on her, but by chance Stevie befriends editor Bill Monroe, who then introduces her to publisher Channing Bliss. Stevie is hired by Bliss and assigned to Dan Butler's ward.
