The Story of Shirley Yorke plot

Nurse Shirley Yorke has to tell her boss Dr. Assisting Napier with a new treatment for the sick wife of a British Lord. But the woman dies and the finger is pointed at Sister Shirley, mainly because she and the Lord used to be lovers. Shirley has to appear in court and a lot of evidence is used against her. The doctor tries to prove that neither he nor she are guilty of a crime.
