The Secret of the Whistler plot
"HIS WIFE TOLD HIM..."YOU'LL LOVE ANOTHER WOMAN ONLY OVER MY DEAD BODY"...SO HE DID!"
Married artist Ralph Harrison begins an extramarital affair with Kay Morell, one of his models. Ralph's rich wife Edith Marie is an invalid. Kay Morell, however, is only interested in Ralph's money; actually his wife's fortune. Edith Marie sees that her husband wants to poison her with drugs, but she does not take them and she notes what she has seen in her diary. When Edith Marie dies of natural causes one day, Richard marries Kay not long after. Kay then blackmails Richard with the information about the systematic drug poisoning from Edith Marie's diary.
