The Purple Gang plot

"When machine gun mania rocked the nation!"

1920s: A teenage gang from the suburbs of Detroit called "The Purple Gang" is led by psychotic William Joseph "Honeyboy" Willard. During Prohibition, "The Purple Gang" hangs out with adult kidnappers and within 3 years they control Detroit's underworld. Inspector Bill Harley has been given the special assignment to dismantle this 'hallway'. To intimidate Harley, "Honeyboy" and his right-hand man, Hank Smith, terrorize Harley's pregnant wife Gladys.
