The Public Defender plot

Rich playboy Pike Winslow goes incognito as the mysterious avenger 'The Reckoner' when he learns that Eugene Gerry, the father of his girlfriend Barbara Gerry, has been wrongly accused of embezzlement at the bank. Winslow sets out to clear Eugene Gerry's name and uncover the real culprits. He gets help from his two employees, the erudite 'The Professor' and the tough boxer 'Doc'.
