When William Palmer graduated, everyone promised him a golden future. But it looks different now. When Palmer finds himself increasingly in debt as a result of his gambling addiction, he must look for money. He knows all too well that his mother-in-law is rich. With his medical knowledge, he also knows how to poison her without leaving a trace. Driven by his hunger for money and the success of this first assassination attempt, he soon makes more victims.
